Course Title: Intro to Robotics with VEX V5
Target Audience: Middle & High School Students (Grades 6–12)
Duration: 6 weeks (2 sessions per week, 2 hours per session)

Course Overview

This course introduces students to the exciting world of robotics using the VEX V5 platform. Students will explore mechanical design, basic programming, and teamwork through guided builds and challenges, culminating in a mini competition.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

• Identify and use VEX V5 hardware components

• Build and modify a basic robot

• Program the robot using VEXcode V5

• Apply engineering principles to solve real-world problems

• Work collaboratively to design, test, and improve robot performance
